Challenge

A leading German automotive maker taking over wholesale responsibility from several regional distributors. With the rapidly growing market, management wanted to secure the transition while establishing a bench mark operation. The transition would involve the take over of staff and assets from former regional distributors. Further, the plan needed to cover establishing a cooperation model with a local joint venture partnerships.

Approach

The solution was to create a detailed business blueprint integrating and detailing business processes, organizational structure and build-up milestones. This ensured that all teams had a clear understanding what was needed of them and when. A core team was established to plan and drive all initiatives reporting directly to he Management Team. Since relations with all stakeholders was under constant change, a number of scenarios were constantly maintained for Management to be prepared for all types of developments.
